House prices down
The House Price Index (HPI) measures the price of residential housing according to data published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Studies made show that home prices fell by 1.4% in EU and 1.8% in the euro zone last year compared with 2011.
The largest falls were in Spain (-12.8%), Romania (-9.1%), and Slovenia (-8.8%).
